Maintaining Presence in Grief

In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, grief has been at the forefront of our collective consciousness and conversations in a way unseen for generations. We tend to hide grief, loss, and death in the shadows, behind hospital curtains under fluorescent lights. And yet loss is one of our absolute shared common denominators, and integration of loss into life — by acknowledgment, contemplation, and release — is a way to create a more connected way of living. In this 4-hour workshop, we’ll work with the tools of meditation, movement, and journaling to explore how we approach grief and loss, and move through healing together.

Reviews of Group and Private Work:

“Lisette takes on the subject of death and dying with openness and kindness. Her work is both rare and badly needed in a society that still seeks to look away from the topic.

Her words can seem startling, like a light turned on in a dark room. These are the words that are often unspoken, that bring enlightenment and freedom to those who have lost hope of ever hearing the topic discussed with honesty and without hesitation.” – Jean Noack, private Grief Coaching client // November, 2022

"Thank you again for the incredible workshop, your presence, and your authenticity. To say it's inspiring is an understatement. It was so profound and impactful. It truly was the highlight of my entire experience in Mammoth." – Mammoth Yoga Festival: Maintaining Presence in Grief // September, 2021

Loved it - got so much out of this. It was informative and fun, and my journal now has a blueprint in it for my life. Amazing!” — Wanderlust Stratton: Move, Meditate, Muse—Conversations with the Self // June, 2019

“Thought Lisette was a rock star. Loved it... the combination of hike, yoga, meditation and journaling was brilliant and spiritual. She led a fantastic session!” — Manifest Station: Chakra Tune-Up + Flow // May, 2018
